Ok, here is a fantastic high quality wine value. This is the 2007 S. Orsola Piemonte Barbera. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Barbera, this is most definitely a grape to add to your list of staples to keep in the cupboard. A lot of bright, red fruit, with just the right amount of tannins. An under appreciated grape, and one I’m sure you’ll enjoy on a regular basis.

I get this at my local Total Wine for $5.99 a bottle, which is probably one of the best values you’ll ever find on a wine.

   Hey, I am gonna give this one a try.
   The Barberas were recommended to me by a friend a long time ago but I cannot rememeber if I ever tried them.
